There have been many podcast awards in Australia, but the NPA’s are the first independent, nationwide podcast awards free of any affiliation to a media outlet. Celebrating all programs that work so hard across the country without bias.
Any show that published an episode in 2025 within Australia is eligible for the awards.
It’s completely free to enter and you don’t have to be part of the podcast to be involved. If you’re a fan, you can nominate your favourite pod, so they get the recognition they deserve.
Nominations Open – Feb 21
Nominees announced – March 19
Winners announced and event – April 22
The awards will be livestreamed on April 22 2026
All category prizes will be decided via a fan voting process on the nominees page. Individuals can select their pick for each genre once per day, with the highest total deciding each winner at the end of the voting period.
The MAJOR PRIZE will be decided by a selection of independent industry veterans with no current corporate bias.
